What is Spinning®?

Spinning® is a group exercise program for people of all ages and fitness levels. Each class is taught by a trained, certified instructor who will take you on a journey which explores the mind/body connection. Every journey combines different types of music and imagery to simulate a real bicycle ride. Our instructors motivate you through each and every step of the way providing an energetic and invigorating workout! Spinning® is for everyone, at any age, at every level of fitness. Whether a beginner or a skilled athlete, we all start at the same place and successfully complete a class together. Spinning® classes are a safe and effective way to stay fit. It provides a non-impact, exhilarating cardiovascular workout.

Questions about Spinning®:

  • Is it safe? Yes. It is a safe and effective way to stay fit. Our certified instructors will motivate you through your workout while varying the intensity via a variety of movements.
  • Will I make it through a class? Yes. Most of the classes are only 50 minutes in length and although the instructors vary the levels of intensity, everyone works at their own pace and fitness level.
  • What's the difference between riding a Spinning® bike and a stationary bike? There is no comparison! A Spinning® workout is designed to simulate the feel of riding a real bicycle with a wide range of adjustability that gives everyone a comfortable fit.
  • How do I get started? Spinning® is free to members. We offer 45 minute Intro to Spin classes, which is recommended to all new spinners. New spinners are welcome to all classes except the 75 minute rides. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early for proper bike set up. Please bring a towel and water bottle to class.
