Many of our members have discovered that regularly- scheduled classes are one of the best ways to maintain a high level of physical well being-offering variety, motivation, and a built-in support system.

One on One offers the following class types:

Our classes are taught by certified group fitness instructors. Choose from a variety of 40 weekly group fitness classes that will make it easy for you to cross train. Strength & conditioning, cardio, and mind body classes are conducted in our upstairs main studio.
Our popular group cycling classes are held in our dedicated Spinning studio which features 25 Schwinn Spinning bikes. Group fitness classes are just one valuable amenity that is included with membership. Bring a friend to enjoy the group fitness experience with you, and their first class is complimentary.

 

What is Spinning®?

Spinning® is a group cycling exercise program for people of all ages and fitness levels. Each class is taught by a trained, certified instructor who will take you on a journey which explores the mind/body connection. Every journey combines different types of music and imagery to simulate a real bicycle ride. Our instructors motivate you through each and every step of the way providing an energetic and invigorating workout! Spinning® is for everyone, at any age, at every level of fitness. Whether a beginner or a skilled athlete, we all start at the same place and successfully complete a class together. Spinning® classes are a safe and effective way to stay fit. It provides a non-impact, exhilarating cardiovascular workout.

Questions about Spinning®:

  • Is it safe? Yes. It is a safe and effective way to stay fit. Our certified instructors will motivate you through your workout while varying the intensity via a variety of movements.
  • Will I make it through a class? Yes. The instructors vary the levels of intensity and everyone can work at their own pace and fitness level.
  • What's the difference between riding a Spinning® bike and a stationary bike? There is no comparison! A Spinning® workout is designed to simulate the feel of riding a real bicycle with a wide range of adjustability that gives everyone a comfortable fit.
  • How do I get started? Spinning® is free to members. New spinners are welcome to all classes. We recommend that you arrive 5-10 minutes early for proper bike set up. Please bring a towel and water bottle to class.

Mind & Body Classes

Yoga

If you are looking for a workout that builds strength, balance, flexibility and stamina all in a single class, then Yoga is for you! In the quiet of our studio, under the guidance of our professionally trained yogi, you can engage your mind and body in a motivating, focused yoga session that will leave you feeling energized and relaxed. If you suffer from lower back problems or joint stiffness; Yoga is a good choice for you.

Pilates

A unique method of body conditioning that stretches, strengthens, and tones your muscles. The focus is on training the mind and body to work together-increasing flexibility, improving balance and creating a strong lean body. In this mat class a certified instructor will teach you a simple series of movements that will build a foundation for strengthening your entire body.
