"Attack the Fat"

"Last year I made a decision to change my life and lose a lot of excess weight.  My wedding day was quickly approaching and I wanted to feel and look better for our special day.  I knew that it would take a long while, even past the BIG day, but I was ready to make a change. I knew that in order to do so, I needed to join a gym and get active.  I have lived in Ann Arbor for my entire life and have tried all the diet plans and most of the gyms that Ann Arbor has to offer.  I heard great things about One on One and thought I would give it a shot.  After all, I had nothing to lose but weight!  Little did I know that this gym would change my life in ways that couldn't even imagine!  I started off by taking a 10 week "Attack the Fat" class.  I saw great results and was really motivated.  I wanted more!  The people at One on One gym have been instrumental in my weight loss.  Mark, Chris, Troy and the crew are so supportive each time I walk in the gym.  I honestly feel that I am part of the One on One family and feel so comfortable when I work out because of it, even at my size.  Troy has especially been my biggest fan and I am of his.  He has gone above and beyond to see that I stick to my weight loss goals and for that I am eternally grateful.  My wedding day has passed and I feel great about what I have accomplished and where I am going.  I have a ways to go still but know that those at One on One gym will help me get to my goal weight before I know it." - R.W.

"The First Three Weeks"

"I am just back from a week in Colorado:  skiing at 11,000 feet and living at 9,000 feet above sea level.  Having done this trip a number of times, I am certain that 3 weeks of exercise (circuit and tread mill) definitely made a difference.  My legs (particularly my thighs) were in much better shape for skiing.  I did not get as winded while doing simple things we take for granted here at sea level:  climbing stairs, carrying groceries, brisk walking."
