Corporate Membership/Wellness
We know:
- A physically fit employee is an asset to your firm, helping you to improve productivity, and your bottom line.
- 70% of illness today is due to lifestyle causes, like obesity and lack of physical activity.
- Obese people today spend more on health care than smokers or heavy drinkers.
- The Average Corporate dollar spent on prevention yields $3.48 in direct health care savings.
- All companies will benefit by setting down with one of our Wellness Consultants and enrolling their company today in our five step approach to healthier workforce.
One On One Athletic Club has a five step approach to a healthier workforce:
- Needs Assessment -
Find out what your companies needs are? Maybe you don't need memberships. Maybe you can some of your employees join our basketball or racquetball leagues, maybe just drop in activities. Whatever your company's needs are we will truly work with you to help your company get active/moving.
- Screening -
We ask that all employees complete our activity level survey to find out who wants to do what and who doesn't want to do anything. Those who choose not to exercise we work hard to get them to a club function where we are playing volleyball, wallyball, racquetball or some activity to just get them to the club and or moving more at their home and at work. Once we have the two populations separated, Active and Non-Active, we move to the next phase.
- Development -
Here we help those who want to use the club by developing an exercise program to meet their needs. For the Non-active group we meet with each individual at your office to help develop a special program for them to get more active. We call this program "A Few More Steps." Our only objective is to get the non-exerciser to be more active at work and home and maybe someday into our club.
- Execution & Accountability -
Putting the plan to work and measuring it to verify it is cost effective and working.
- Education -
Our wellness expo's, on-site classes and educational seminars are good tools to educate your employee's on the benefits of a healthy diet, lifestyle, exercise and often interests the non-exerciser enough to get them interested.
