New Member Information

We welcome you as a new member! Our goal is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. We realize how difficult it is.

We truly believe we are in the relationship business. The following are some of the things that you should know as a new member:

  1. We want to make sure that you are set up with the right exercise and/or fitness program for you. To ensure this, please sign up at the service desk for our SmartStart program. This special program is designed to help you get started on your fitness program and is designed with your fitness level and goals in mind.
  2. You also receive nutritional counseling help to assist you in making a few gradual changes and become smarter with your eating choices.
  3. We will track your club usage and if you are not using the club we will contact you to get you back into the club. We do not want you signing up and not using the club...that means we have failed and you have failed!
  4. For the first week of your membership you are required to have picture ID along with your temporary membership card until we get your new membership processed. At this time you will be issued your membership card and you check in will be easy each time you enter the club.
  5. Please bring a lock for the lockers to secure your items in the dressing rooms. To ensure cleanliness, please remove the lock (all lockers are for daily use only, unless you rent a locker) and your items when you leave the club.
  6. Do not leave valuables exposed in your car, especially cell phones, money, wallets, purses or briefcases, please put them in your trunk.
  7. Please return all towels to the towel bins and rental equipment to the service desk prior to leaving the club.
  8. If you need anything please just ask and we will help. If you are not happy, we want to know about it. Please stop by the service desk and let us know what we can do to make your visit better or how we can help. You can also drop a suggestion in our suggestion box and/or email us at mark@1on1club.com to contact the Club Director directly.
  9. Members and their guests are required to wear shirts and shoes at all times. No open toe shoes are permitted anywhere in the club while exercising. Tank tops are allowed but must cover the entire chest and back. Athletic shoes must be worn on the courts and in the fitness areas. No black/blue or waffle bottom shoes are permitted on wooden floors.
  10. Ask us about setting up a house account so you don't have to bring money into the club. It is easy and convenient.
  11. If you have any health related issues, please consult your physician prior to exercise or using any area of our club.
  12. For additional policies and procedures see the "One on One Policies and Procedures" located inside the club and read the back of your membership agreement.
