Physical Therapy

Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan is one of the nation's largest freestanding academic rehabilitation hospitals. For over 50 years, Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM), has been helping people rebuild their lives after a serious illness or injury. We do this by delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services based on cutting-edge treatment techniques, innovative research and excellent, personalized medical care.

A full spectrum of comprehensive services and programs are available for spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal disorders, low back problems, amputations, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, sports injuries and other medical conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. The Institute houses a state-of-the-art Motion Analysis and Gait Laboratory. Research in the lab focuses on improving human performance on skills such as walking or stair climbing or improving sports related techniques through proper body mechanics.

One On One Athletic Club is very pleased to have developed a partnership with RIM and invites all of Washtenaw County into the club to see why RIM is one of the oldest and largest rehabilitation centers in Michigan.
