How do I sign-up for a personal trainer?
Contact our Peronal Training Director, Laura, at 734.761.4440 or lauramain@1on1club.com. A trainer will be suggested to you based on your preference of male or female trainer, you training goals, any injuries or physical limitations, the trainer's style, etc.
How does payment for group exercise classes work?
You can either pay for individual classes or purchase a class pass, prices are as follows:
30 minute classes are $4 for members and $5 for non-members
60 minute classes are $7 for members and $10 for non-members
6 class passes (6 hours of class) are $29 for members and $49 for non-members.
1 month Unlimited Pass is $55 (members only)
We accept cash, check, credit/debit or payment to your house account for group exercise class purchases.
How old does my child have to be to use the exercise equipment?
Children under the age of 12 can use the cardio equipment with direct supervision of a parent or guardian with a Minor Participation Form on file. They may not weight or resistance train without the supervision of a certified coach or personal trainer.
Children 13 to 15 years of age can use the cardio equipment and weight or resistance train as long as a parent or guardian is in the building. The child must have a Minor Participation Form on file. 1on1 reserves the right to remove the weight or resistance training privlege if the training is being done improperly or poses a risk to the minor. We can arrange for assistance from a personal trainer or staff member to correct any risks and teach proper techniques.
Children 16 or 17 years of age can use the equipment, train or play sports without the supervision of a parent or guardian, as long as we have a Minor Participation Form on file.
What is the best way to get involved with the club's basketball program?
Participate in our drop-in basketball play. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after 7pm are the most popular times. There are a wide variety of skill levels so all are welcome!
How do I find someone to play racquetball or paddleball with me?
Stop in and participate in our challenge court/drop-in, offered on different nights throughout the week.
Racquetball drop-in is Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Paddleball drop-in is Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Drop-in is $10/one hour or $15/two hours.
Racquetball leagues are also a great way to meet people. See the Service Desk for more info.
What do I do if I want to bring a guest to the club?
Bring your guest and have them fill out the guest waiver when you check in to the club. Guests of Full Club and Fitness Only members pay a $10 fee for a general pass to the club; guests of Fitness Plus members are free and these guests have access to the equipment and locker room only. If your guest would like to take a class or play a sport, they would just pay the drop-in fee for that activity.
We do not give out free guest passes at the service desk or upon request.
Are there other clubs to use when I travel?
One on One is a member of IHRSA, an association of quality clubs that offer our members the ability to use over 3500 private clubs for a nominal fee. Please speak with our Club Director for a listing of the participating club and your IHRSA Passport that allows you to use the clubs. You can also go to www.healthclubs.com for a complete listing of IHRSA clubs.

You can call our Accounting Department at 734.761.4440 or stop by the club between 8am – 4pm, Monday through Friday. Ask to speak to the Accounting Department.
